HAGCM introduced American professor Dr. Gene Getz and his Life Essentials Study Bible to Ugandan pastors and Christian leaders. After conducting three successive pilot programs over 18 months it was determined a deeper commitment was required and viable. Soon, construction began in the Mukono area.

Now in 2023, the residential conference centre is complete; a consistent flow of pastors from Uganda and sometimes, East Africa arrives for their training and equipping.

DMUL has recognized the need for Biblical equipping of Ugandan Christian leaders and has joined its strength with appropriate NGO’s. Awareness is growing rapidly; demand is now high and much effort is required.

Today an average of two such equipping sessions take place every month at the Life Essentials Equipping Centre in Walusubi Village within Mukono District.
